test

Today in human geo we took our test. I studied hard and thought i didnt do too bad on the test. Hopefully this won't hurt my grade considering i need a good grade going into putting the exam in.

Overview

Today in human geo we watched a power point which was an overview of the video. I was going to put the notes from the powerpoint on my blog but i forgot my book and the powerpoint is not on the website yet. I am looking forward to getting a good grade on the test.

Today in Human geo we finished watching the video. We talked about Cows most of class and how they need lots of corn to eat so thats why there are so many corn fields. We also learned that the cows produce methane from regurjitating the grass back in their mouths and in their different stomachs. We learned about electric cars and how they are better then gas cars cause they produce more waste. the only problem with the electric cars is that their battery goes very fast. That is what we did in human geo today.

Today in human geo we watched a video about environmental geography

- earths climate has fluctuated
-roughly 10,000 years ago people started growing food
- they did so people could focus on other things
- the temperature has been higher then usual
- an old term(global warming) is driving the temperature up. a new term ( climate change) is what people use for it nowadays.
- fossil fuels
- green house effect is how the chemical gases trap heat and keep it in
- NASA says arctic sea ice had reduced by 10% in the last 10 years
- Temperatures could potentially reach 10 degrees more.
that is what i learned today in human geo.
